Imagine each and every day of your motherhood life, you get a dose of "I Love You" with a squeezing hug and noisy smack of kiss from your child(ren). I do get that every single day, never a dull moment from my daughter and I couldn't resist that! I love the way she shows me her little hands shaped into "I Love You" sign language, and I return the love back to her right there. She knows that I cannot hear very good because I was born deaf due to German Measles (Rubella) from my mother during her late pregnancy trimester. I couldn't blame her for contracting that, unfortunately. But that deafness does not faze me at all. None, whatsoever. Once my daughter was born to both of her deaf parents, she knew it right away, quite instinctual. Then she watched us using American Sign Language and followed us well into little hand movements as she learned. She right now especially enjoys using and showing us her ever-constant little "I Love You" sign. It does melt my heart instantly. I realize that everyday, we do give each other lots of love, hugs, and kisses - helps us stick together and knowing that my child is well-loved and nurtured all the way with a positive attitude from us. It is very important for all of you as a parent that you give your positive "I Love You" with hugs and kisses to your child(ren) and they will know that they are loved. I have come across this wonderful site and discover that anybody who are new to parenthood can be able to communicate with their babies over simple sign language skills. It is so much easier for the parent(s) to understand what their youngster is trying to convey their own simple wants and needs through sign language like drink, bathroom, bed, and best of all: I Love You. This would be the most beautiful way to give each other that loving moment like my daughter and I share each and every day with that simple "I Love You" sign language and plenty of hugs and kisses follow through. Why don't you try to come on to this recommended site and what you find from it. Maybe, you can help others who wants to communicate better with their babies and toddlers. Even for yourself with your child(ren)! It is a wonderful education to learn those sign language, you never know who you might bump into who are deaf and using sign language. It would be so cool!
So, I welcome all of you to check this wonderful site "How to Learn Sign Language" on your above right side. If you are curious about this site and about me, as a deaf mother, come on over and email me!
